Mr. Pullukuri Sadhu Samuel, born in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, was a man of profound faith, compassion, and integrity. He was the eldest of ten children and the first Indian appointed as the presbyter of Jewett Memorial Baptist Church. Known for his academic excellence, he became the first Andhra Baptist Christian postgraduate and earned the prestigious L.C.P (London) teaching certificate. Alongside his wife, Mrs. Bejawade Danam Samuel, the first Indian Telugu Christian woman to receive a B.Ed., they dedicated their lives to serving the Lord and the community.

As the first Head Master of ABM High School in Nellore, and later as a manager in the Mica Mines Company, Mr. Samuel demonstrated exemplary leadership, diligence, and dedication. His legacy includes the construction of "Grace Lodge," a family house that bore testimony to God’s blessings on those who walk in His ways. He also contributed to numerous social and spiritual ventures, uplifting the poor and marginalized through the Socio-Economic Development Projects (SEDP) and humanitarian efforts under CASA.
